1965 El camino Conversion 3 on tree to 4 speed

looking for help on mounting the rubber boot for clutch pedal rod. (gasket and boot and rubber seal)
Which goes first?
Are the screws for the steering column seal suppose to be longer where the clutch rod boot gets screwed in?
Does the steel retainer go inside or outside on firewall?
my 3 on the tree was missing this stuff have no clue the proper way assembly manual is very minimal with this information and diagrams.

see pictures for parts I'm trying to attach right

Thanks
Bryan

It doesn't look like you're getting much help here.

I don't know a great deal about your specific issue, but I know AMK Products has a part number for steering column retainer screws for a '65 Chevelle (G-5496). You might try contacting them to see if they have any answers about the screws for your application.

Here's a link to their website:

www.amkproducts.com

Hope that helps.
