They already had a perfectly functioning column shift so not only they not have to swap the steering column they made use of the console. I thought it was a good mod and looked like it could have been stock rather than some gaudy self invented modification.

I like and watch this show when I can. They're working on cars.

Without the drama and stupidity of most of the other car shows.

Never watched the Girls show. My observations of almost all the car shows on the air today are that the shows are a joke. All the drama, BS and fake time pressure is so stupid. After watching even one show with any one of the "Dave is mad at Bill", "the transmission has to come in today or.....", Chuck walked out because he doesn't like the color that he has been told to spray on the body" and "we only have 40 minutes to mate the frame and body, install the interior and install the engine" story lines I will not waste the electricity necessary to keep my TV on with such tripe airing. There is a total lack of any information valuable to a car enthusiast who has progressed far enough to know how to change a spark plug before he turns on those shows. Wasted air time and electricity IMHO.

Re: All Girls Buckets & Console

I love the Scat seats. I first sat in my buddy's 70 1/2 Camaro that had the deep bucket Ralley seats, and then swapped out the factory buckets for the Elite with Lumbar in my Chevelle. Those finally wore out (recovered once, but the foam was dead this time too) and I bought a new set of Elite lumbar seats. The first set lasted close to 25 years.

Re: All Girls Buckets & Console

I just watched it “on demand”. I like what they did with the console but nothing else. The hacked it up with mix match black parts in a blue interior. Took out shoulder harnesses (not cool, probably not legal) put in generic black buckets. The bench seat “wasn’t practical “. That is exactly what a bench seat IS. Hell, they started the show with all 3 of them out for a drive in it! They should have pit in some swivels and modern harness, and matched the blue.
