Window stain.

I'm detailing my SS and I have a stain on the corner of the rear window. It looks like glue or almost an etching. You can barely feel it with your finger.I have used Invisible Glass,Swipe,Spray Nine, paint compound,Dremel with buffing wheel and compound,Razor blade and Lacquer thinner. The lacquer thinner worked on the outside edges but there is still 4 square inchs left. You need to look at it at angle but still very noticeable. When the stain is wet you can hardly see it,but when it dries there it is.

I thought I knew a lot about detailing but this thing has me pulling my hair out and I don't have much to spare.

Any ideas?
Thanks

Re: Window stain.

I assume this is on the outside. If it is just a stain then it should come out. If it is etched into the glass then I don't believe you will be able to remove it. I had etching in my original rear window that looked like someone dripped 3 drops of some kind of acid on the glass. It was permanent and I ended up replacing the window.
