Hedman Headers too Small? 69 396

Okay guys so I have a 69 Chevelle 396 350 horse. I pulled off a set of cyclone headers because they were starting to rust on the bottom and had holes. I replaced them with hedman 68190 that were recommended.
Before I install these I noticed that the primary tubes on the cyclone headers are significantly bigger than what I'm replacing them with. If you look at the pictures the cyclone gaskets matched the ports on the head where the new Hedman headers are a lot smaller.

Are these headers going to be okay or am I gonna lose a bunch of power? I am hooking them up to apply bs 2.5 inch exhaust with violator mufflers.

as long as they're 1&3/4 primary pipes they'll be fine.

Is that a trick of the camera (optical delusion?) or are those old headers actually D-port headers? Around the late 70's & early 80's D-port exhaust ports on a BBC was a hot upgrade. A popular day 2 upgrade.IIRC.
