Ls Turbo Exhaust

Hello All,
I have a 6.0L LS Turbo swapped into my 1971 chevelle. It has an electric cutout and a 3 inch pipe going to a flomaster 50 with a turndown. I can't drive with the cutout open all the time, its too loud. I want to put a tailpipe to the back of the car. It is a single exhaust and all the kit's I have seen are true duals. I have a few questions I'm looking for help with

Is there anywhere I can get a tail pipe kit for a single?

What is the largest size pipe I can run over the axle comforatbly? I would like to do 4 inch haha but that is probably hard to do.

Any recommendations for a Turbo Muffler? The flowmaster is chambered and I think I would like to have a nice deep tone without limiting the turbo. Cheers!

Here is a video on my instagram of the car, hope you all enjoy it. https://www.instagram.com/p/ByiiE8Vn..._web_copy_link

no kits Im aware of for single. just go have it made. 3-3.5 will fit but it will be tight if you go over the axle. I would run it out in front of rear tire or just do an axle dump.

Re: Ls Turbo Exhaust

Why do you want to have such a large tail pipe??? You need back pressure on your heads to produce power and the less backpressure, the less power the heads produce. Now if you were making 600+ hp, I can understand larger pipes, but that would have to be duals anyway. Having a single exhaust is choking the LS1... you should really think about upgrading... Check out this link... https://pypesexhaust.com/i-12200871-...tem-sga11.html for 2.5" and https://pypesexhaust.com/i-12200888-...tem-sga14.html for 3".

Hello Mike, I have 6.0L lq4 with a 78mm turbo that's making close to 600rwhp, with a 4" inch downipe into an electric cutout then to a 3" exhaust to a muffler with a turndown just before the axle. I just really want to be able to listen to the radio while crusing.

Re: Ls Turbo Exhaust

Gotcha… Sounds like you need all 3". Race Pro will be your best bet for the most flow.
