Resonators on a 67

Has anybody ever tried resonators on a 67 like a 70 has?

I have a Mark Jones 468 with manifolds, H pipe and Magnaflow 2.5 x 18 mufflers.....forget what they call them but they have glass packing. Anyway, they sound great but the car drones quite a bit and when you stand on it, even moderately, it has that "blat blat blat" glass pack sound. I'm wondering if resonators would solve this without quieting it too much.

Thanks for any suggestions.
