Looking for '66-67 Malibu wagon

One of my grandsons, 17 years old, would like to build the above wagon as a daily driver. Looking for a nice mostly rust-free Southern car, preferably a roller. He's on a limited budget, so high-dollar cars are out.

Grampa has trailer, will travel.

Re: Looking for '66-67 Malibu wagon

That's what my son-in-law bought, a 67 wagon roller. He's driving it now, but he has some real money in it now. Good luck.

Thanks Jim. He is pretty set on a '66-'67. Do you have any details on the '64?

That '64 looks like a nice project for that money.

Re: Looking for '66-67 Malibu wagon

Yeah, Grampa had a little influence on his decision. He definitely knows what he wants to build. Wants to keep it fairly simple. His Dad already has a carbed 355 and Muncie 4 speed to go into it. It will be lowered a little with 16" wheels and tires. Eventually Butternut yellow or Emerald turquoise.

Color of purchase doesn't matter right now, as long as it has a decent rolling body.

He's been watching Facebook, CL, and eBay for months now. And he asked if I could do a "wanted" ad here on TC.

When I sits, I sits loose.
When I thinks, I falls asleep.

Augy not a 67 but man are two door wagons expensive. This definitely fits his bill but its a 64. If he doesn't want it maybe another member would be interested. UPDATE. Just noticed someone cut out the floor which may pose a problem.
