Detroit Speed GM Type 2 PS Pump and BBC Mount

I have the following for sale:

  • Detroit Speed GM Type 2 power steering pump with integrated reservoir, DS Part #090901 (Paid $250)
  • Detroit Speed power steering pump mount for big block Chevy, DS Part #092102 (Paid $73)
  • Detroit Speed spacer kit for long water pump, DS Part #092103 (Paid $12)
  • Allstar Performance 6" steel power steering pulley for GM Type 2 pump, 1/2" v-belt (Paid $45)
I bought this all when getting ready to mount a new steering box on my 67 Chevelle, but ended up converting to a serpentine setup. All parts are new and in original packaging. I opened the pump and mount just to check fitment. Total invested was $370. I'll let it go for $200, buyer takes everything. Shipping will be from SoCal (buyer pays shipping). Can arrange local pickup too.

I had the exact same parts but couldn't get it work with a short water pump and had to go back to Saginaw style and they let me return it with a 200% restocking fee. DSE is a great company to work with

Why wouldnít it fit? Seems like it would be an even easier fit for the short style pump. I didnít know about their return policy....OUCH! Iím glad I sold it rather than returning it. Iíve always had great experiences with DSE. Been using their stuff since 2005 or so. I guess they got sick of people buying parts to mock up fitment and then returning them for full credit.

Was meant to be 20% clearly youd be a fool to return for a 200% fee, lol

Pulley system required to fit between dual electric fans and over sized radiator. I fought it with different pulleys and as soon as i got the PS pump to clear the fan the alternator belt would rub something. Was literally just the location of the peak of the cone on the pulley shaft i couldn't resolve without a new fan assembly

Re: Detroit Speed GM Type 2 PS Pump and BBC Mount

I had purchased all the same DSE parts for small block along with their 600 gearbox. It wouldn't work. Pump hit gearbox. Had to sell it all just like you. Bit the bullet and bought a Vintage Air serpentine kit for small block. Never installed that and had to sell because I went LS............never ends.
