Wanted: '66 396 PS brackets

My car has manual steering, and as I get older I keep thinking I should consider adding power steering...

I know the repro stuff can work okay (used it before on my convert), but I figured I should just see whats out there.

Based on this thread, I'd be looking for the "A" and the "D" brackets...

https://www.chevelles.com/forums/35-...-brackets.html

Anyone have anything available?

Thanks,

Tony

Ground Up does NOT have the parts I am seeking... SS396.com carries the "generic" 1968 brackets. While those brackets are functional, they are not really correct for my '66...

If I get to that point, I know I can pick those up from most suppliers, but since none of the suppliers carry the correct pieces, I placed the add on here...

Thanks

Re: Wanted: '66 396 PS brackets

I got all my parts from Jim Berther in Mesa, AZ when I did my '67 SS about 10 years ago. He had all the NOS stuff that was available at the time.

Here's his info

Hopefully he's still dealing with this stuff, I read here he was thinking about getting out of the parts biz.
