The wire runs under the inside trim for the windshield to the driver's "A" Pilar and down behind the pillar post cover to the very left of the Dash Pad. The wire then runs under the dash to the fuse box. The wire plugs into the tap labeled "ACC."
Sorry Lou, I don't remember exactly where it tucked into. I think it was along the bottom underneath the cover. Mine is a convertible and I don't know if that is different from a coupe.
Lou, the wire runs up the hollow mirror stem into the headliner. By removing the mirror mount and drivers side sun visor you can fish the wire from the mirror stem to the visor and then over to the A pillar. I removed the A pillar trim and then ran the wire through a small hole at the base into the firewall area. Out for the weekend so no pictures at this time.
