1969 window regulator..what is this piece?

I bought new regulators for my 1969 Chevelle, the new ones seem to be missing a piece. I have looked up lift plates and cannot find anything for this vehicle. I have watched multiple videos on youtube and it seems like people only replace their quarter windows lol.

Any help with information on this part or installation of the window without this part would be appreciated. Thanks!

Man... Id be surprised if those are reproduced, as they really dont wear out. I think theyre called the window roller channel.

Thanks, I am starting to think this part was never reproduced. I cannot find anyway to install the door glass with these new regulators. Everyone seems to replace their quarter windows and I have yet to find a guide on how to install the window with the current regulator configurations.

Do you have a Fisher body manual for your car? I think there is an exploded diagram in there showing the window hardware.

I'm confused! Have you removed the door panel, regulator? The lower window channel is on your glass. That channel doesn't come with the reg. and should be fine, the rollers go into the channel.

Re: 1969 window regulator..what is this piece?

Thanks for the replies guys. The car is in the shop, I finally have a day off so I will go by there today and check it out. This is the closest thing I could find and it's for a Camaro. https://www.ss396.com/camaro/RSC-072...e=camaro-parts Hopefully the guy at the shop is just confused and the piece is on the window and it just needs new rollers. Those are a lot easier to find.
