Orig Fiber Optic...

Can original 1970 fiber optic cable thatís used for the washer fluid monitor be spliced back together after being cut and function as original ?

If so, anyone know who can do it ?......or how itís done?

if you find the break file sand the fiber optic ends what ever gives you a smooth finish on both ends the take a piece of vacuum hose tight fit push the ends in and it all should work, i use a bit of crazy glue on hose ends...

Re: Orig Fiber Optic...

You can order on line new line.
I had on my 70 that I did a few years back.
There are companies that use it around pools.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming: "WOW! WHAT A RIDE!!"
