1970 396 valve covers

Hey guys. I currently have nice set of chrome valve covers on my 70, 396 but there are some rust spots popping up. The current covers even have the spark plug wire guides. Any opinions as to my options for something that would look nice and last?

Thanks

If they are factory original I would send them out and have the re-chromed. Can't beat OEM parts.

When you’re ready to replace them with OE quality, get Cranes. Chevelle Valve covers Big Block

For after market covers, I like Greg's. But the Chevelle big block looks the best with the OE valve covers. The engine designer's back then hit a bullseye with this one. IMO.

You can clean the surface rust off with 0000 steel wool and a heavy mix of dish soap and water.

Your just jealous because you can't hear the voices!

Those are the exact covers I have and unfortunately they are getting rust spots especially around the mounting points. As a matter of fact that whole engine compartment looks similar to mine!

I second the Crane's. Bought a set about 2 years ago and the quality is outstanding...

I tried searching for the Cranes on their site with no luck. Can someone provide me with a link I can order from?
