Steering box/tie rod color

What is the correct color for the power steering box and tie rods for a 66 Chevelle. I have access to the duplicolor brand if anyone has experience with this.
Thanks in advance

Power steering box = natural cast, with the covers aluminum.

Tie rods: natural cast.

Bolts: gray phosphate.

For natural cast I use Eastwood Spray Gray. For aluminum I use Eastwood Aluma Blast.

My 68 El Camino Malibu and my 68 El Camino SS. In 1968 I got my 1st 66 Chevelle SS. 30 years later, I got my 2nd. Both Chevelles are in the same location.

Thanks for the pics and opinion. Appreciate it ! The eastwood is hard to get up here, but I will look around.

Google MYSTERY CHEVELLE and check out Mike Crowns Danube Blue "66" if you want a good view of properly restored steering linkage.

Re: Steering box/tie rod color

I use Dupli-Color engine paint in Cast Iron and the clear for the aluminum or anything else that doesn't get painted. Although the clear is a gloss. The gloss does tone down after a period of time.

Seymour Paints makes both Aluma Blast as well as Cast Blast... I've had great results with both.
