Re: One or two side view mirror(s) ?

Perry,
Yes our mirrors have the same hole spacing as a stock GM bracket.
We have a set of stamping dies that make our mirror brackets ,we
patterned them after the original GM ones only ours are thicker & have
2 slots in them for mounting.
Thx, Billy

Perry,
Yes you can order a single mirror.
Our round mirrors only come with standard glass.
Our patented. mirror base design doesn't count
on a convex lens to eliminate the blind spot.

I"m not sure I follow. Are you saying convex glass and clear shot are two different things? I'm referring to the rectangular mirrors.

Troy,
What I was trying to convey was that our mirror base design is
one of the main design features that Eliminate the blind spot on
the Passenger Side.
The convex mirror lens on the Passenger Side isn't even needed but people still want it.

Clear Shot Mirrors are Round or Rectangle.
The round ones are not made with the convex glass.
Thx, Billy

Thanks Billy

I received one Morris Classic mirror with the anti glare glass for fathers day. Now I'll go ahead and order the second one to match. I'm not a fan of convex mirrors so thanks for clearing that up.

Re: One or two side view mirror(s) ?

Troy,
Thank You for purchasing our parts.
Some people as yourself don't like the convex lens.
Be sure and convey to us you want a plain view blue tint mirror.
Have a look at our other parts.

Most people think a convex lens on the Passenger Side will Eliminate
the Blind Spot which is not true. A convex lens increases the view
about 10% which isn't enough to correct the other manufactures
mirrors Blind Spot issue.
Happy Fathers Day!

Re: One or two side view mirror(s) ?

Some people put a plate behind the mounting pad but I didn't on my
69 Camaro.
If you are going to put a backing plate on just go to a sheetmetal shop
have them shear you a piece of 18 ga. metal and drill 2 holes in it to match
the screw pattern. Glue it inside the door to match your mirror plate holes.

Thx, Billy

Re: One or two side view mirror(s) ?

I installed a passenger side on my 70 and have no regrets, hated not being able to see back my right side. I do think I may invest in a set of the Morris though as they appear to be a pretty big step up over factory and the repops.

Off topic, but seriously thinking about a set of their 3 point seatbelts as well

Re: One or two side view mirror(s) ?

Pat,
Yes our mirrors are better than factory ones as the factory ones are not designed to be on the passenger side
GM didn't even put them on as they knew the mirror wouldn't work on the Passenger side. You can see 2 lanes over
with a factory mirror but not the lane beside you.
You can tighten the ball and socket in the mirror head if ever needed.
There is not a set of mirrors on the market that looks like factory that will Eliminate the Passenger Side Blind Spot,
let alone a 3 yr warranty. We have a Patent on our design.
Our seat belts are year and car specific.

Thx, Billy

Received my mirror from Billy at Morris yesterday. Very impressed with the quality! Great Product! Rotating the image is above my pay grade LOL...
