Re: color coded glass fuses

Just note originals the stripe was inside. The ones sold by Corvettes parts houses have the stripe on the outside

I found a lot of correct ones with the painted stripes in a car recycler. very cheap.

Its the little details that separate the men from the boys in a correct restoration

Re: color coded glass fuses

Hey, If you want to get real crazy, LOOK at the screws that hold the wheelhouse trim on my 70 El Camino. The factory screws had a little triangle stamped in each screw.
Ya, Gotta look real close, If you do, You will see the triangle.
Bob
P.S.
I could not find the PINK fuses, So I mixed up some paint and SHA/ZAM, I got pink stripes on glass fuses.

Re: color coded glass fuses

Heck, I think my fuse block might still have 1 or 2 of the striped fuses. I'd have to look.

I got the right ones in mine, very few look, but the ones that do,
