Chevelle lovers:

I am moving to Tulsa, Oklahoma in October 2002 for a new job. Please provide here or
privately any recommendations for good mechanics, auto body shops, upholstery shops,
classic car shops, general auto service places, junk yards, auto clubs, or Tulsa comments.

Thanks.

While I'm a couple of hundred miles from Tulsa, I know there are a ton of great looking cars up in that area so there must be something good. There is a Chevelle club, the Oklahoma Chevelle & El Camino Owners Association.

Sorry I can't help with any particular shops but I'm sure dropping a line to the club secretary, Leonard Szopinsk at [email protected] will get you some info.

Welcome to the midwest and if you were getting there sooner (Sept 19,20,21), the Midwest Chevelle Regional is being held in Tulsa this year.
