Where to buy M21

Looking for a date correct M21 for a 67 SS preferably in northern CA., any recommendation on a good place to start? recently discovered the trans that came with the car was from a Chevy II and it looks a little beat, at least the housing. Have the old one for a core exchange. Thanks!

Re: Where to buy M21

How about posting what dates you need. Lots of people here have spare Muncies laying around and Craigs List purchases can be a big risk.

Thanks,

Re: Where to buy M21

Found this information in the April 2008 issue of Muscle Car Review magazine about Ron's Transmission in Garden Grove, California. Ron Worthen has 30 plus years of experience working on 4-speeds, including Muncies.
Spoke to Ron recently, he's still in business, as I had a question about rebuilding a Muncie in my current car. His phone number is 714 537 8028.

Another source is Dave's Vette Shop in Citrus Heights California. Spoke to Dave a couple of days ago, he rebuilds Muncies also.
His phone number is 916 722 3017.
