Legend700 5 Speed Candy

I just thought I would share a few LGT700 5 speed pictures.

I will be installing the "Black Calico" coated unit into a 1970 Chevelle very soon. I will be taking many pictures and documenting the entire install on Team Chevelle. Stay tuned!

Looking forward to your install Jody. I'm on my 12th week of waiting on mine to get here that I ordered from spraker racing.

Looks beautiful. Is the black paint? Or is it some special coating that has an additional purpose?

The aluminum is not painted, it is a high performance industrial non-stick coating on the inside and outside. The PTFE coating will aid in maintaining cleanliness, dissipates heat, and it compares pretty much like Teflon on a frying pan.

Re: Legend700 5 Speed Candy

Yes and I got the silver coating. I ordered from Paul originally but when he dropped out I then went to spraker. Had I known you would be carrying this trans I would have purchased from you.

We look forward to your phone call. We have some cost incentives to use us as your Legend700 outlet. All of our "hardtop" vehicle customers will receive my recipe to reuse your existing stock crossmember.

Re: Legend700 5 Speed Candy

What is the shifting like in comparing to a TKO 5/600 transmission? Is there any floor modifications required for proper pinion angles?
