10 holy bop to 10 bolt Chevy u joint needed.

Ok. My 67 had a BOP 10 bolt and I swapped it for Chevy 10 bolt. Now the u joint on the driveshaft will not work. What number u joint is the BOP and what is the Chevy?

Tighten it till it strips and back it off a quarter turn.

I dunno about the u-joint but… what's the use of swapping a 10 bolt for another 10 bolt?? … I don't get it.

The BOP 10 bolt is stronger than the Chevy, the only advantage is if you gained a posi.

Your just jealous because you can't hear the voices!

BOP is probably a 3R and the Chevy will be a 1310. BOP is a stronger rear end.

Thank you for the input. (Good or bad)

I’m just trying to get this thing on the road for the first time in 9 years. I know there are stronger rear ends. This is what I have and just trying to use what I have.

I guess I could buy a custom rear end that fits the u-joint. 😀

3-3130 Neapco will put a 3R to a 1310. The pinion yoke will use inside snap rings to retain u joint in yoke. If it has tabs , get some measurements
