Kick down cable help

So I converted my 66 283cid from a 4 speed to a auto TH350. I have everything mounted except the kick down cable to the carb which is a Rochester 4GC. Can anyone help with where the bracket goes, where the cable hooks up and if I need to adjust it how? Thanks for any help

Re: Kick down cable help

I'm fairly sure the cable comes up the driver side rear of carb., and either fits over a pin w/clip, or slides over an arm at the lower throttle arm, opposite the throttle attaching point. The throttle should pull the downshift cable forward when accelerating and should be fully extended at wot.
