Radiator overflow reservoir

Anybody ever seen one like this, or know where I can find one? The front side is grooved and slides down over a metal bracket. Mine has worked for a couple years, but now it leaks. Thanks

Check out my pos t #6 in this thread. Got the lid off big Olds or Buick at a junkyard. Also post #10 has pics of same.

Re: Radiator overflow reservoir

What is the purpose of the overflow unit? Is it for racing to meet tech specs?

Re: Radiator overflow reservoir

Bob, it was on the car when I bought it a few years ago. It worked - filled up when hot and level came back down again when engine cooled. It just started leaking. The metal bracket that it fits in looks stock, but I'm not sure what stock really was. Simplest fix is to find a replacement that doesn't leak, but I'm open to suggestions. Thanks

Re: Radiator overflow reservoir

I use a second windshield washer fluid for my overflow. Works good and looks good under the hood.

OLDED - It's STOCK if it's made by GM and it fits!

Stock? Year, make, and model? I see a piece of plain old mild steel angle iron in your picture. Not likely stock. Time to get over to the junkyard and do a little shade tree auto engineering.
