No. 1967 Chevelle 327 has suffix codes of EA, EB, EC, EE, EQ, ER, and ES. http://chevellestuff.net/1967/engine_id_codes.htm

An HC coded 327 is a 65, 67 or 68 passenger car; essentially the same 327/275 w/Powerglide but not original to the Chevelle. You'd need to get the casting number off the block and maybe the date as well to determine the year. Several 327 blocks used from 65 through 68.

As a side note, the 66 model year passenger car had the same engine but was coded HCH if it had a Holley or HCR if it had a Rochester.
