Re: Lets see some team El Camino pictures

Part 2...

Engine is back from machine shop and mostly put together. Still a 283 ( now a 287!), but now with Edelbrock cam, manifold, and a Holley 4bbl. Pertronix distr, bored .030 over and comp ratio @ 9.5. Sanderson SB cast headers will go on soon. Frame has been powder coated and most all of the hardware in the front end. New ureathane bushings are going it to replace the rubber along with HD sway bars F&R. Underside of the body has been media blasted and sprayed with a Durabak like coating, PG has been cleaned up and had new seals installed. Third member has been blasted and painted. New spindles, and disks will going on soon. Plan is to get it all put back together and sorted out, then do a repaint when all the mech work is done. Gonna stay with Sandalwood.
