radio harness

Hello guys.Does any one know if any of the parts places carries the harness that connects the underdash harness,to the radio? This is for an am radio in a 70.I can see where it plugs in to the main harness, there is a yellow, grey and black wire going into the plug.Someone must have needed one at one time, and grabbed this one. Any help is greatly appreciated, Greg.

Re: radio harness

Not sure what you are looking for. It sounds like the dash harness has the power connector for the radio. Maybe you are just missing the speaker harness.

Re: radio harness

Hello John, the blade connector that plugs into the back of the radio is what I am missing.I noticed the plug in the main dash harness with the yellow, grey and black wires, and thought it might just plug into this, but I am not sure. There are a few parts missing on the car and there might be something else I need. Thank you for the help, Greg.

Re: radio harness

On my 72 AM radio that connector with the 3 wires plugs into the back of the radio.

Re: radio harness

On my 70,there is no blade type connector going to the radio and the plug that has the yellow, black and grey wires is more of a square connector with 3 blades in it,1 horizontal and 2 vertical.Should the harness that plugs into the radio plug into this or maybe somewhere else.Thank you for the help, Greg.

Re: radio harness

Hey guys, I think I found what I need. The blade type connector that plugs in the back of the radio with the speaker, ground, lights and power is actually a short harness that plugs into the underdash harness on my car. Thank you for your help, Greg.
