Update: Talked to a Co. called MuShield and described my problem. They said their product wouldn't work. What I needed was any metal that the magnet would stick to, and to cover it. So I went to the parts store, and for $2.99 I bought an exhaust pipe adapter that had the correct I.D. to slip over the speaker magnet. I trimmed it to fit, and used electrical tape to isolate the area of the speaker wires. It seems to be working just fine, and the speaker doesn't seem to be affected by the metal sleeve. I'll continue to keep an eye on it. Thanks for all the input.
