Fuse 9 in IP panel should be hot at all times PARK LPS 20 amp
Fuse 14 in IP panel should be hot with headlight switch on in either park or headlamp position ILLUM fuse 10 amp

Fuse under hood was for the turn signals.

Re: 99 silverado electrical gremlins

The PARKING LAMPS is a 30 amp fuse and it does have power at all times. I put the fuse back in and went to interior panel and pulled the ILLUM fuse and it did have power without turning the headlight switch..... I then turn the headlight switch to those two locations and the parking lights came on as well as the taillights.

Im baffled here.

Backing up I did find a blown fuse back before Phillips last post. It was a 10 amp SEO ACCY. Is there a relationship there?

Now I guess we will see if light sensor in the dash turns on the taillights like it should.

Re: 99 silverado electrical gremlins

Ok, everything working working and now it is not.

Open the door and the dome light does not light.

Dash lights still come on when you turn the headlight switch to the two other positions, park and headlight. Running lights and taillights come on. The ILLUM fuse has power when you turn the switch to park and headlight positions

When you opened the door you could hear something and noticed the dome light and other lights in the roof once you push the button does not come on.
