Power master starter

I need a new mini starter. I have a db electric unit that grinds incessantly. I want to use a power master but notice they only use the battery cable and one of the wires to the solenoid. What do you do with the other wire? What's the wiring secret here?

Re: Power master starter

The second wire is for a boost in voltage to the coil during cranking for a points set up. If you are using any type of electronic ignition, just tape it up and leave it unconnected.

Thanks! Do you use the purple or the yellow wire?
