Electric fan controls, what one?

Getting to that point finally, Radiator will be in next week and im wondering what will work and last for the fans. Im looking at this two at the moment .


Hayden Automotive 3654 Adjustable Thermostatic Fan Control


Derale 16759 Adjustable Fan Controller


Whats everyone using and how long do they last, How easy to wire up?

Two fans, 7 amp. How well does the probe work compared to the block temp senders.

I have the Derale controller. Very easy to hook up and adjust. My advice: DO NOT get the probe type. Jamming a probe through your radiator fins just seems like a terrible idea and isnt a true water temp reading.

1969 Chevelle Malibu 396BB, DNE2 4speed (do not want - would sell), 12 Bolt, 18x9.5 Snettertons with 245/40 and 285/35s Conti3s.
