Rear turn signal/brake light problem

I have a 65 chevelle and I'm trying to fix some issues.
My front turn signals work fine.
All the lights work when I turn them on.
The problem I'm having is with the rear turn signals/brake lights.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Rick

Re: Rear turn signal/brake light problem

If all grounds are okay
If your gas gauge works
If your dome lights work

Turn switch is probably bad

Make sure it is connected securely----probably is if the front turns work, but double check.

Brake lights go thru the turn switch and that portion of the switch needs to be working or there will be no brake lights-----or rear turns.

Re: Rear turn signal/brake light problem

Could it be possible that it has the wrong bulb?
I checked the wires behind the bulb and it blinks with the turn signal.
