7" round light emitting diode headlight: Peterson "701C Piranha LED"

Drop-in. (Form factor matches standard 2D1 configuration, w/ H4 electrical connection) $181.79 at RockAuto. Weighs 19.7 oz. Flat clear face. Makes white light. Bottom half completely dark on low beam. Well defined upper cut-off on low beam aids adjustment. High beam really lights up the signs. 9-32 volt operating range (no dimming like my halogens at idle)

Compliance: DOT/FMVSS108, SAE (says "DOT SAE HL 12" on lens)
Compatability: SAE Type 2D1, Par56, H6014, H5024, H6024
"American Made"

Did you use the anti-flicker harness with the lights?

Not a lot of info but they draw less current than the halogens or the std incandescent. This would make headlamp and dimmer switches last longer.
