1964 amp guage shunt

Some one please help me.
I need a shunt for my 64 chevelle SS It has gauges and this year alone. They were also used in 62 thru 65 novas with gauges.. The shunt is mounted on the core support under the horn relay. I have looked with all the vendors. Does any one have info on this item? I just missed the one that was on ebay. An nos item. Thanks Randy

Re: 1964 amp guage shunt

Randy, Not sure about 64's but on a 65 there is no actual shunt per se but rather it is the red 10 gage wire that runs from the terminal block on the core support behind the battery and is terminated at the horn relay.

Dave, 1964's are unique. The original poster is correct, an external shunt is needed-- looks Like a ballast resistor only green in color. Tough to find, yes.
