MAD Electical

After reading many different posts about wiring and electrical I decided that I should maybe give MAD a call. Wow, am I ever glad that I did. I had a long conversation with Mark Hamilton and learned a TON of things. And enjoyed myself immensely.

I have ordered his kit, and I can't wait to get it. His website ( needs some updating so the prices are not proper any longer. But in the end, I think I paid for a great product, and a very informative consultation.

Mark says to tell everyone here hello and that he drives a 66 El Camino as his daily driver. He would come on and post here more, but he lives in the sticks and uses dial up internet!!

This guy is a real class act. And thanks to you guys for pointing me in his direction.

Re: MAD Electical

I rewired my engine, charging, and headlight harnesses using his kit and it went smoothly. His directions and guidance made it a time consuming, but worthy upgrade. Glad to see he is still in business.

Re: MAD Electical

Ditto here. Mark is a very friendly guy that gives you a ton of great info and is very thorough in his explanations. This carriers through to the instructions in his wiring kits.
I got his New System w/ battery located in the trunk and it made wiring actually fun! When you've got good quality wiring and connectors, it's almost easy to update your wiring. Having a good soldering set/heat gun and factory manual are essential tools that also make tackling wiring upgrades a snap.
Can't recommend Mad Electrical enough.
