Wipers to park

1968 chevelle...will my wipers go to park if the washer pump is not connected?

Speaking of wipers in park.... I am just getting my 67 back together and I turned my wipers on and off.... we they didn't park, they just stop... How can I fix this... I would rather fix it than replace it... info?? Help?? Advice?? Thanks!!

First, does your wiper motor have the park feature? Have you ever seen them go to park?

Yes, it "did" have the park feature... I just got my car back together and was going to put my wipers on... but I wanted to make sure they were in park so I didn't screw up the new paint

There is a small set of points that open and close that open the ground on the park circuit. That was my problem. They are located under the washer pump inside. There is a small 1/8 inch hole just above the ground strap in the pic. The points can be seen through this hole. Just make it a bit larger and you can clean the points up.
