having trouble getting power

ok so i am having trouble wiring up my new engine. i have a hei unit, which i have wired up to the battery and one hot wire on the S terminal which is connected to the solid purple wire leading up to the ignition switch. now my problem is with the front headlamp harness. am i correct if i connect a hot wire from the positive post to the red power wire that runs across the radiator support to the light or horn relay? then that wire enters the bulk head connector at the fire wall. also my car is a auto and is the neutral safety switch solid purple or purple with a white tracer? i have juice at the starter but dead everywhere else. if i remember correctly there is a dark green wire that also connect to the positive on the battery that will power up the in car harness and ignition?

Re: having trouble getting power

Not quite sure what you're asking but the main power comes from the fuselink connected on the pigtail of the positive battery cable, then connected to the terminal on the core support near the passenger's side headlight. From there it goes across to the BAT terminal on the horn relay and on to the bulkhead connector.

Re: having trouble getting power

yes so from positive battery pigtail, there is a single post on the core support behind the passenger headlight. does the red wire that runs across the radiator connect on that same post as well? then to the relay onto the bulk head connector on the fire wall.
