66 chevelle gas gauge

many years ago i bought an autometer gas gauge. i have a 66 chevelle w/a stock gas tank and sender.

i never had an actuate reading on the gauge. it seems to have a range from 1/4 tank to 3/4 tank. when i look at the gauges in the summit catalog they have several types, 0-30, 0-60, an several others.

which one should i get?

thanks for any help here

Re: 66 chevelle gas gauge

Autometer gas gauges are made in several different ohms. 0-30, 0-90 and others, you need to look up the part # of the gauge you have and determine what the ohms it is. Then you can get the correct sending unit. If you bought it for your chevelle it should be 0-90 ohms.
