oem wiring connectors

Does anyone have a source for oem wire connectors? I'm looking for the firewall connector for the back up lights.

Re: oem wiring connectors

? Backup light wiring runs through the interior, into then trunk then out to the light. The wiring doesn't go through the firewall, at least on a Chevelle. What car and year are you asking about.

Re: oem wiring connectors

Hank,

I'm assuming he means the earlier Chevelle's which have a transmission mounted switch to activate the back-up lights.

Jinxy,

Have you tried American Autowire? If you just need the the actual connector blocks, or terminals inside the blocks, you can usually find them online by searching for Packard Electric Terminals meant to repair existing items.

We put that on our repro switches, but that is a molded rubber part which is not sold separately.

Yes, it is a 56 series terminal, but the connector is a rubber molded piece around the terminal.
