I have a 67 2dr HT w/350. For the past few months all of the lights have been "twinkling". The car has a slightly lumpy cam and you can see the lights dim on and off while at a stop light. Whenever I honk the horn the lights will dim. So I figure that Ill get a new alternator to fix this problem. The only thing that is holding me back from getting one is that Im not sure what else I need to get, as far as new wireing harnesses. So if I get a 140amp (Summit PN: PWM-47294) alternator what am I gonna need as far as wiring goes.

If you don't want to do any re-wiring there's a conversion kit for the SI alternator available at M & H. You will see it listed under 67 Chevelle.
