RTX Dash Cluster

I recently decided to rewire my entire Chevelle. I purchased the American Autowire Classic Update Kit and am now looking at purchasing the RTX dash cluster. The only thing stopping me is my questions on the speedometer and the difficulty of install. The oil pressure and temperature gauge should be relatively simple, but since I still have the old style transmission I was wondering the process of the speedometer. Do I need to buy other adapters since it is a digital/new style speedometer?

Re: RTX Dash Cluster

Did your gauges not come with a cable to wire adapter? Unless you have electronic output on your trans, you’ll need an adapter.

Re: RTX Dash Cluster

I'm putting my 66 together now with AAW Clasic update kit And a DD HDX gauge.

I had to go look in the box because I'm running an LS and the adapter to the OBD2 port and their satellite speedo, so no sensors for me.

Anyway, the cable to electronic adapter is included in the HDX kit.

I couldn't say for sure, but I bet it's included in the RDX kit.
