Shiftworks Gauge Kits

Unfortunately it appears Shiftworks will no longer be selling their gauge conversion packages. I am having an issue with the temperature gauge in my 68 and called them to get a replacement, only to be told they were phasing out that product line due to vendor issues. I have to say the person I spoke with was very helpful and he went back to look through old inventory to see if he had one, but did not.
It is a shame as that was a great product, and made everything clean and factory appearing, or almost. Shiftworks is a great company to work with and very helpful, and I could tell they were not really happy about losing the product line.

If you are thinking about one of their packages for your Chevelle or other vehicle now is the time before they are all gone. I guess my only option is to see if I can get the gauge repaired or do that myself. Maybe if I tap it just right with my ball peen hammer......

Re: Shiftworks Gauge Kits

A shame. I wonder what the "vendor issues" are? Pricing? Quality? Availability? Personal vendetta?

Thanks for the heads-up.

Re: Shiftworks Gauge Kits

They said that the vendor "had become too difficult to work with any longer". Could mean anything I guess.

Re: Shiftworks Gauge Kits

Thank you for the heads up. Called them right after seeing this thread and managed to order the last gauge conversion kit for a 70.

They said the same thing, too many issues with a vendor, didn't want to discuss it further.
