Horn wiring

I purchased a complete new steering wheel kit for my 69 and I'm trying to figure out where to connect the 2 horn button wires. Any help or pictures would be appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Horn wiring

On my 70 El Camino, those wires connect to the horn button assembly under each horn button. If you ground those wires, the horn will make horn noises. Pushing either horn button (if equipped with two) is the same as grounding those wires.

There should be a connector near the turn signal switch area to connect the other end.

Re: Horn wiring

Please post a picture showing the ends of your wires. Then I can help you. Do you have a small brass cup crimped on the end with a compression retainer to hold the wires into the tube on the cancelling cam?
