Switch?

I have this e-brake switch that always stays lite when I drive the car. Is that white plastic piece partially broken? 1970 Chevelle.

Yes, it should be a full circle. That being said, the mechinism itself is adjustable, have you tried adjusting it? The E-brake assembly may need to be serviced (cleaned and lubricated). Are your E-brake cables taunt?

Cable is hooked was adjusted lubed several years ago and is very Tight. It goes down about 3-4 clicks.

Suggestions where to get a new white button?
