Interior lights help

Please help! Last night i was taking the back seats out of my 70 Chevelle Malibu, of course i had the doors open while doing so and after I was done my interior lights would not turn off when i shut the doors. I checked the light knob and made sure the dome light was turned to the off position. I ended up just disconnecting the battery for a temporary fix but i need to get this fixed ASAP. Thank you for your help!

Re: Interior lights help

you can check the door light trigger pins and associated wires.

the pins, when depressed or Closed would turn the lights off.
There is one in each door jamb

Re: Interior lights help

IF the problem is associated with removing the back seat, you might check to see if maybe the white wire to the light got shorted to ground somehow.
