68 chevelle ground straps

how many should i have? and what locations should they be.

Three braided straps. Two long ones on the engine: One end is screwed to the firewall (see FAIM for which holes to use for the screws), the others go to the "inside" rear screws for the valve covers. The third short strap goes from the body to the frame on the passenger side of the car at the firewall.

There should also be a ground "strap" mounted on the top of the cowl to ground the hood.
