Hunting 70ss Chevelle

Looking high school car had a lot of good times in it. The car was Astro blue with black stripes, cowl induction, black bench seat, columnshift, tilt wheel , tach and gauges, power windows and trunk release last seen in mid 90’s near Birmingham al. Any help finding it would be greatly appreciated

Re: Hunting 70ss Chevelle

If you have the VIN, search google. If it has ever been listed for sale and the ad included the VIN you will get a hit. At least one person on this site has found their old car that way.

We found the vin today google search had no results Went to a title search company and because Alabama had no titles before 75 nothing shows up here. So we ran a nationwide search thinking maybe it went to another state and still no results. Vin#136370A138900

Well here is an idea. Why not just buy another and make it as you remember the one you had. It is possible that the one you had in high school doesn't e,it any longer.

I used my 69 as a daily driver for many years. Reliability will really depend on how it’s been maintained and/or altered. The plus side to many older vehicles is that they’re easy to work on even for the less mechanically savvy of us. With a stock small block you can find a YouTube video for pretty much every single thing that needs to be done.

Google for Chevelle clubs in the Birmingham area and contact them. Get the word out to them, like you've done here.
