67 Malibu search

My mother sold her house, and send me some pictures and such. There was a tag receipt for a 67 Malibu I had in the late 80's. A Google of the vin didn't pull up anything. It was black when I tagged it, and the receipt shows that. But it was originally blue with a blue interior. It had a 427, 4 speed, a 12 bolts and buckets when Isold it. Vin is 136177A180300.

I own this car, but it just a shell now. It does have a frame and will roll. It has a 10 bolt I put in it to be able to roll it. When I got it,it was in the same condition it is now.

Re: 67 Malibu search

I just saw this thread. I won't be buying it. My health is the issue. The car is in much better shape than me...I just wondered what it looked like today....

Sorry to hear that. Hopefully that changes and your health improves.
Glad someone was able to track the car down for you, these things always seem like longshots but it's nice to see one pan out.
Have a good one.

Re: 67 Malibu search

This is the first time I've seen someone look for a car on this site and actually find it. Given the circumstances, I'm kind of sorry he did. I wish it had been a jewel.

First, you will need a rake or leaf blower.

Re: 67 Malibu search

Make no mistake, if I was in good health, I would fix that car. I had the ability to at one time. And you rarely find a past ride...
