68 seat cover recommendation ?

Can someone point me in the right direction for quality seat covers for 68 buckets? I don't need concours quality.... Just solid covers. Thanks everyone!

Re: 68 seat cover recommendation ?

Steve, I did my seats with Legendary products a couple of years ago after searching on this web site and these were highly recommended. They look and fit great. Very happy with their product, I see now that NPD is carrying Legendary and they are still carrying another brand according to their 2012 catalog. I am about 50 minutes from NPDs Canton facility so I usually pick up my order from them. Have bought many things from them and always good service. Looks like you are fairly close to their warehouse. Might be worth the drive if you want to check out the different upholstery lines they carry to compare. You might want to consider new cushions too. They have ACI cushions and thats what I used. Happy with the feel and quality of these.Another thing to check is the Legendary covers come with the buttons installed, not sure if the other ones do. Ken

PUI makes very nice covers at a reasonable price. I believe NPD, Natoinal Parts Depot sell them.

Just to throw my hat in the ring, I also make seat covers for a 1968 Chevelle. I'm a Legendary quality at a PUI price. Best of both worlds.

Re: 68 seat cover recommendation ?

Thanks for the input everyone! I actually don't even have the correct seats in the car right now, just trying to line things up for when I find a pair of correct buckets. NPD is about an hour from me and I will definitely consider them. I have heard good things about TMI too. Have checked out Legendary but the cost puts me off a bit. Thanks again!

I used Legendary covers and American Cushions on my 68. They are the best! Seats turned out great! Remember, you get what ya pay for

I know this is an old post, but I am about to re-upholster my 68 elky bench seat. Legendary quality for PUI price, not today. PUI $207.95, TMI $292.99, Legendary $388.95. I will say, you're still $93 cheaper than Legendary. Prices will definitely fluctuate over the years.
