64' Headliner trim

Noticed my headliner is coming un-glued around the a pillars up front. Which has me wondering what trim am I missing, I of course could re glue it but anyone have a pic of how this is supposed to look up by the a pillar and sun visors? where the head liner meets the windshield. Suggestion for decent replacements of what ever was there. Screwed on or clip?

Thanks!

Re: 64' Headliner trim

Unsure where you mean?

At front plastic molding sides anodized alu trim and rear plastic molding.
I can take pictures soon and post.

Re: 64' Headliner trim

Um, yeah I am pretty sure I missing all that aluminum it has very decent headliner and there is no witness marks holes for any of the hardware.. A pillar is still exposed steel correct? meaning no plastic trim going to the dash. After work I will have to take a closer look- Thanks for the pictures that really helped.

A pillars are painted steel no trim.
The alu trim is avaible as repro same with the plastic moldings around windshield and rear window.
The alu repro trim is ok, I changed my oem to repro since it was dented and dull and its close in fit the plastic moldings on my car is also repro needed some triming and fit was ok.

Re: 64' Headliner trim

Confirmed I am missing all the headliner trim. What is there is a U shaped flexible molding that you would use sound the door where plastic panels would meet the door seam for a like a 70's. It does a good enough job where it is being used but the headliner is lifting where it is glued including the rear.

So what is your recommendation on where to get those interior trim bits? Sounds like the aluminum you got was decent enough. I like good stuff but dont need to maintain OEM appearances.

thx
