Need picture. 67 dome light

Does anyone have a picture showing where the screws are for the dome light on a 67? (Preferably without headliner) thought I put them both in before doing my headliner but I think I can only feel one.

Tighten it till it strips and back it off a quarter turn.

Maybe if you hold the light bezel up there you can figure out where the other
screw is or where it goes.
Just a thought

I did that but am not sure what I am feeling is the screw. I really dont want to poke any extra holes in my new headliner.

Tighten it till it strips and back it off a quarter turn.

Re: Need picture. 67 dome light

Should not take much of a slit to find out if the screw is there if one screw
has been located. I stuck a smaller phillips head in the slit and easily found and
screwed the screw back out.
I think if you miss it by a little bit the screw or hole should be easily found
and should be hidden after the bezel is screwed in place.
I looked for pic but only have one of the dome wires only sticking out.
Hope someone comes up with a picture for you.

Re: Need picture. 67 dome light

Found a video...if you can feel the cross brace one screw is towards the rear of the brace and the other screw is towards the front of the brace.
Probably be difficult to get someone to post with an exact measurement from screw to screw, maybe someone will come thru for you soon.
Hope this info can help you

You gave me an idea. I can put my bore scope in the holes for the wires and look.

Tighten it till it strips and back it off a quarter turn.

Re: Need picture. 67 dome light

I know this picture doesn't show the actual location of the screw holes (in fact the light is not attached here), but at least this is what the framework looks like in my '66.
