Not a 69-72 A body for sure. It looks like a truck column to me too.

You sure that's not a van tilt? That's what it looks like to me.

Re: What is this column out of?

That is out of a Chevy Van, It will not fit an A-Body car.

This is what an A-Body column looks like.
This one is a 4 speed Tilt column.

Second Picture is an A-Body Auto Floor non Tilt column.

Curious, what's the difference between a van and a pickup column?

Re: What is this column out of?

I know that the vans are the only place (that I know of) that have the indicator on the column with all gears including O/D available.

Re: What is this column out of?

That one for sale looks just like the tilt column in my 70 CST pickup to me but not very good pictures on this monitor.

Re: What is this column out of?

It's from a 69'~`72 Pontiac Lemans or GTO. Pontiac was the only A body to have the shift pattern on the column.

Re: What is this column out of?

Indicator housing from column to indicator in the CL add is taller than the LeMans/ GTO pic IMO truck or van I think?

The van/truck column wouldn't have an A body bulkhead mounting plate on it.

Re: What is this column out of?

Van also uses a VERY different and short intermediate shaft with u-joints.

Re: What is this column out of?

Looks like a Pontiac column, intermediate shaft is too long for a van. The firewall plate looks like A-body.
